So a few days ago I talked about Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz for the #PSVita and its baffling menus.
It has an _even stranger_ level creator where you create levels. By taking photos and then shaking the Vita until it says its done.
Sometimes it then tells you to shake it harder, or asks if you want to. Then you can get an achievement for how much you shook it.
But don't worry, your input is valuable as taking a picture of my Wii and SNES and shaking it got me... this:
I can't even find a trace of the input photo. The amount of shaking may determine the verticality of the level?
It's really opaque, and you can't customize _anything_ about it like background or tileset or items on the course. It's not really an editor, it's just one of the weirdest attempts to check off items of Vita hardware used in a game I've seen.
Here's a photo, the shake menu, and the resulting level.
It also likes to randomly disable Vita screenshots at parts during this. For reasons.
But it does randomly throw statues of Sonic or Sega consoles into the level.
This is bizarrely facinating and useless and you can share these levels you randomly generated effectively online if the servers were still online. O_o
