Orion Petitclerc<p>At long last, I&#39;ve completed my read-through of <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/dccomics" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>dccomics</span></a> <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/TheSpectre" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>TheSpectre</span></a> <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/comicbook" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>comicbook</span></a> <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/chronology" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>chronology</span></a> for pre- <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/New52" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>New52</span></a> canon.</p><p>I did not care for <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/CrispusAllen" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>CrispusAllen</span></a> or that whole era of the Spectre and I&#39;m glad it&#39;s over.</p>
Orion Petitclerc<p>I&#39;ve been reading through the <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/CrispusAllen" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>CrispusAllen</span></a> run of the <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/Spectre" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Spectre</span></a> and finished <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/FinalCrisis" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>FinalCrisis</span></a> Revelations today. Gotta say, not really a fan of Cris as the Spectre. I get the angle the writers were going for with his story but it doesn&#39;t resonate with me like <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/JimCorrigan" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>JimCorrigan</span></a> or <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/HalJordan" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>HalJordan</span></a>&#39;s did.</p><p>Taking a little break to read <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/Shadowpact" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Shadowpact</span></a> (for <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/Enchantress" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Enchantress</span></a>) and the <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/MadameXanadu" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>MadameXanadu</span></a> series to catch up on my parallel chronology readings before closing out the pre-<a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/New52" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>New52</span></a> Spectre continuity.</p><p><a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/dccomics" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>dccomics</span></a></p>
Orion Petitclerc<p>Just completed my re-read of <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/JohnOstrander" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>JohnOstrander</span></a>&#39;s <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/TheSpectre" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>TheSpectre</span></a>. Having returned to it after reading everything that came before, my love and respect for this run have more than redoubled. Its definitely the epitome of <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/JimCorrigan" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>JimCorrigan</span></a>&#39;s stories, if not all Spectre stories.</p><p>Now onto uncharted waters (for me, at least) as I continue my comprehensive canonical read-through with <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/HalJordan" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>HalJordan</span></a> and <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/CrispusAllen" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>CrispusAllen</span></a>&#39;s runs.</p><p><a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/dccomics" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>dccomics</span></a> <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/comics" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>comics</span></a> <a href="https://retro.pizza/tags/comicbooks" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>comicbooks</span></a></p>
