I don't know if threads work well here...

I have a disorder called PMDD (common co-morbidity of ADHD). My PMDD is classed as severe.

For 2 weeks out of every month, my life changes drastically. I get many symptoms, but the main ones are extreme fatigue, brain fog, depression and hopelessness.

Someone recently told me that he won't try taking antidepressants because he doesn't want to be numbed by drugs. I probably thought this way, too, but I've found it to be the other way around.

Depression is numbing. Anxiety is a locked room. I'm not a psychiatrist, but it's my understanding that #SSRIs reverse the neurological damage caused by #depression. I've experienced this as winter into spring.

ok. so, #ADHD plus meds for my #PMDD give me a severe case of out-of-sight-out-of-mind, I forget stuff. which leads to clutter around my house, cuz if i put things away, they're GONE and quickly forgotten. So I have things out and around alllll the time. I don't love the clutter. but if I put things away, woosh. into the void.
anyone have ideas for how to deal with this problem??

kitty seems to have pooped/vomited out whatever was making him so whiny and unhappy for the last couple days, thank god. wish i knew what it was so i could make it unavailable but no clue.
signs point to this being a really BAD PMDD week, so i'm looking for HAPPY cartoons to watch between household tasks, but i could just play more Cozy Grove, Potion Permit, etc.
meanwhile, making soup, baking, living room clutter, just the usual.
