Later today it's Lager Fest at my friend's brewery in south Minneapolis.
I worked with Kyle at the radio station where he was a broadcast network operator for years while perfecting his amateur brewing skills.
He'd win awards, and I'd often ask him when he would go professional.
Well, he did it, and I'm glad to see they're now celebrating seven years in the brewing business.
Doggos – leashed pups with well-behaved humans are welcome, inside and out.

Downtown #Fargo took another hard blow with the loss of Fargo Brewing last month. I'm going to miss having their ice cold Lemonade Radler on a freezing cold sub zero winter day, like today.
Beers to always brew and keep on tap. Seven taps available:
- Czech Pale Lager (aka Pilsner Urquell-ish triple decoction)
- German Pils (Schönramer-ish, Rothaus, or a Dortmunder Export - not a Pils I know)
- Helles or Vienna Lager (yes, different but similarly less bitter)
- Kölsch (I love drinking from a Stange)
- Märzen (because)
- Steam/California Common (my version with a bit of rye malt which also reminds me of the old Redhook Rye)
- wildcard
Second row of hops installed. I don’t have an easy way to build very tall post based high wires for the hops so I use bamboo with twine to give them something to climb. Works well enough.
Wakatau and Riwaka planted last year and now Perle and East Kent Goldings split from what I was growing in pots.
