What we played today...
BombBusters
Frequently on Saturday evenings when my friend's hubby is off work we eat out (or in) and have a game night. Tonight we tried a game none of us have played before, even though it's a couple of years old, called Crack List. It was a lot of fun.
Played Lord of the Rings: Fate of the Fellowship. We won in a close game.
I imagine the real challenge in developing Lord of the Rings Pandemic was resisting the urge to title it "Gondorrhea".
Residential tile.

My current Big Project right now is directing and producing this brand new deck of playing cards featuring excellent artist Poeynony!!!
The suit symbols are my own design and I've spent ages heming and hawing about how to make the face cards tastefully teasey, and Poey has done a really magical job with the preliminary illustrations!
Currently we're expecting to sell these for $30 a deck, but we can cut that down significantly if we get enough pre-orders. If you'd like to be notified when the deck is available to order, email nupanick@gmail.com with subject line "Bunny Cards".
We're also planning to release a cheaper digital edition for those of you who just want this in Tabletop Simulator or as a custom Balatro skin. You can email me about those too!
at some point I want to put together a website with all the design notes, including my "developer art" if you want to see my stick figure commission notes.
cw: suggestive, its just playing card assets but there's anthro rabbits with not a lot of clothing on.
At eldest's request, we play tested and refined our #Talisman house rules for running games in hours rather than days.
Super pleased to play at child's request. Hoping to build on this while it lasts.
Review: The sun had just begun its slow climb over the horizon, casting molten gold across the waves. In the harbour of Puri, the scent of salt and spices mingled as the Sadhabas prepared for the season’s voyage. Families murmured blessings, drums echoed from the shore, and the rhythm of the sea promised both peril and fortune. Odisha’s maritime heritage would continue when the sailors left in their Pattachitra-patterned Boitas by Sidhant Chand from Kheo Games with art by Janki Bavle.

For #ShelfOfShame Saturday we played #Propolis . It's a fun little worker placement tableau builder which reminds me of Splendor, and that's not a bad thing. It's cute, cozy, fun, and not very challenging intellectually.
Playing some #BoardGames today! I shall become the momentary master of a fraction of cardboard!
Hello, I hope you are all well, it has been a busy week with testing of a new system at work and having 3 fillings in my teeth
1. We still have an enthusiasm to play boardgames tomorrow and pick one we haven't played before
2. The new series (20) of Taskmaster is excellent; I'm looking forward to seeing how they do
3. The Great Pottery Throwdown is a lovely show to rewatch and relax to; they are all lovely nice people

Played Forest Shuffle Dartmoor on BGA for the first time and it's so pretty, I neeeed to own it when it comes out IRL #BoardGames
Played my first game of General Orders: Sengoku Jidai by David Thompson and Trevor Benjamin with my daughter. She won on the tie breaker. Such a compact, but deep game. Thank you for the review copy, @ospreygames. Review to follow. #ProudDad #boardgames
@nemo — FYI, if you’re looking to flatter, I prefer you reference my membership to the Evil Geniuses For A Better Tomorrow subgroup.
Ooh, Duolingo now does chess lessons. Will this finally be the year I learn to play (or at the very least vaguely understand) that bloody complicated game?

A nice place to play Harbour. Oh and a cheeky drink too… #BoardGames #BrettSpiele
Ork Pyramid Head - kindly sent to me by Wargame Exclusive. This model is so much fun and packed with detail. It was really enjoyable to paint something this crazy!
