Monster in a Teacup
Humans aren't the only ones who enjoy a spot of tea now and again. Little monsters have been know to slip quietly into kitchens when no one is around and sneak a sip of two of freshly brewed sweetness. Alas, some of these tiny creatures may become so enamored with the tea, that they sip themselves silly and fall into a state of euphoria, causing all manner of behavior.

I am going to start posting some of my older work that I had previously posted to now defunct accounts like *itter and my web site. I will not double post to Mastodon so rest assured, you will not be inundated. RL people keep asking if I have an Insta(harvest) account, which of course I don't and won't. I have started to direct them to my Pixelfed account (pixelwhat?). The upside is, if more people are exposed to Pixelfed, more people may join and donate to keep it alive. Finished a run of turned taqueté hand towels on 8 shafts. The warp is 8/4 cotton with some doubled 8/2. (This was a stash project). Weft is 5/2 in a few different colors, but since turned taqueté is warp dominant, the color differences are subtle. The orignal drafts were in Handwoven a few years ago. I am now trying to teach myself how to design turned taqueté myself. We'll see how that goes...🤞 😂
