At the game table today:
Friend: Does that harlequin have a plasma pistol?
Me: No, that’s a fusion pistol. Maybe 9 editions ago that was a plasma pistol.

Getting ready for an apocalypse battle next weekend. I recently got some used Eldar models but some needed to be equipped. Luckily I keep all my spare bits. One is getting a sword from the avatar kit, for extra fun.
Going have a lot of wraiths and harlequins on the table.
My local store is having an apocalypse game in a couple weeks.
I’m thinking of bringing this for 4K of harlequin wraith madness
1 avatar
1 solitaire
3 death jesters
3 troupe masters
3 shadow seers
3 spirit seers
4 harlequin squads (5 man)
2 harlequin squads (11 man)
3 star weavers
1 skyweaver squad
1 void weaver
3 wraith blade squads
3 wraithguard squads
3 wraith lords
My other hobby is slowly becoming my new obsession -mini painting
I've finished the last three harlequins of my troupe! This is sort of a significant hobbying moment for me, since this group (plus Solitaire) were the first Games Workshop miniatures I bought, very early in my hobby journey, slightly over two years ago. (Why yes I paint slowly)
This might even be enough for a kill team? We'll see I suppose. I've still got a death jester, star weaver and two sky weavers to add to this crew.
Also, these are the first pictures taken with a new ring light, are they too bright?
(Bonus shot of the whole troupe)
Inspiration and motivation for painting has been a bit sparse lately, but today found a bit in returning to an old project! Some sloppy coats on my harlequins, mostly just establishing the color placement. Also it's very humid today so paint was taking a while to dry.
Two more harlequins ready.
4 more to go before my tournament.
I need to paint 10 models before the 18th. 4 down, 6 to go.
Excited to start our Tyrannic Crusade Campaign this week.
Troupe Master Sunë and three Wraithblades.

Got some pre-holiday #minipainting in, decided to try another round of #harlequins on this #eldar #harlequin set that I picked up and have repainted a few times.
Pretty happy with how the pattern is coming along.

@cococlaudi Thanks for posting. For #carnival season, there were dismally few (read: 1) posts on the tags about Venetian masks or that whole aesthetic or hoopla.
The #harlequin tag also had some sports team nonsense on it when I last looked, instead of this timeless trickster or character, as you'd hope or expect.
Where are all my #harlequins & masks at? Can't find things without tags, sigh.
More than happy to stick around on Mastodon, so maybe it's time for a more detailed #introduction
