Reed Richards had created a cure to turn The Thing back into Ben Grimm, but not in the current day.<br>In classic Marvel fashion The Thing (future) battles The Thing (past), wins, and gives him the cure, which works.<br>However our The Thing does not change. After going back to his own time, he asks Reed Richards, who explains that a parallel universe had been created from the past point.<br>I love the concept of time travel. My favourite album is ELO's Time.<br>Starlord and 2000AD comics were the only ones that truly got the concept of time travel correct with Strontium Dog, excepting Doctor Who of course.<br><br><a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/timetravel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TimeTravel</span></a> <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/thething" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TheThing</span></a> <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/marvel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Marvel</span></a> <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/twoinone" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TwoInOne</span></a> <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/elo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ELO</span></a> <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/time" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Time</span></a> <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/strontiumdog" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>StrontiumDog</span></a> <a href="https://polymaths.social/tags/doctorwho" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DoctorWho</span></a></p>
