"You sent him WHERE while half naked? You should have sent him fully naked! Also give him some cool weapons."

The gods have granted Perseus the greatest weapon of all. Steel in the age of bronze.

Zeus. Your mic is muted. Go into settings. I can't hear you. Can you hear me? Can you type?

Wow this guard is like the chattiest NPC from Oblivion.

A winged horse arrives with the leitmotif of the movie.

Flying horses are better with flaming hooves. Less wind resistance than wings.

SO a part of her soul is stolen every night? Does it come back in the morning? I don't understand what this vulture is accomplishing.

Oh no. We have arrived at the poison swamp. Perseus you are in a Fromsoft game!

Calibos just has a bunch of caveman henchmen?
This guy is supposed to be monsterous? He be the star of so many monster romance novels now.

Oh so the cavemen are there to come up with riddles. Well good work if you can find it.

Who wants to get married under the eyes of a goddess?

Hooray a wedding. Well that was a short movie but that's how myths go. Seems complicated but ends quickly.

OH HELL NO. Do not taunt the gods infront of a statue of one. You are just asking for it now.

The Kraken has no known weaknesses. Burgess Meredith read his tech specs.

Hephaestus charges extra for rush jobs. He is the Scotty of Mount Olympus.

I love that little mechanical bird. My grandparents had a little metal bronze bank that was owl shaped. When I would visit them I'd pet that little Bubo idol.

NPC guard is just part of the story now? Is he the Threepio to Bubo's Artoo?

HAH! I forgot about the man drowning in the oatmeal caldron.
Well I forgot alot alot of this movie I saw alot as a kid but haven't seen in probably 30 years.

Oh shit. We are watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail after all. That's the ferry to castle AAAAAAAAAUGH.

*insert monologue about the nature of man written by Terry Pratchet here*

Are those glowing muppet eyes blinking from the shadows?

Aww. Who's a good boy? Cerberus's brother is. Yes you is. Who wants scritches?

Does the dog...
Yes. And it counts as twice technically.

Great use of lighting and shadow in this whole scene.

I love that Medusa uses a ranged weapon. He petrifying stare is great at short to medium range, but arrows cover that long range and makes people look around to find out where the arrows are coming from, thus staring right at her. Great strategy.

Remember, she is the victim in all this cause two gods were assholes to each other an punished her.

The torchlight and heavy shadows do make her all the more menacing and still just believable enough decades later. One of Harryhausen's best monsters.

Calibos is came back the very next day. We thought he was gone from the story, but he refuses to go away.

Early warning owl can serve as a smoke and scorpion alarm.

Oh no! Oblivion NPC got stabbed in the back with a tiny trident! How will Perseus ever turn in all those quests now?

Oh nudity. Huh. Well I guess I missed bits of this movie only ever seeing it on Saturday matinee tv a hundred times.

The biggest Harryhausen monster shouts at the smallest.

So we are at the Clashing part. But this movie doesn't have ant Titans. In Greek myths Titans are the parents of Zeus and the other gods. So long dead or imprisoned at this point.

Unless this movie is saying the Kraken is a Titan, which it is no where else. But the that is still a Clash Against One Titan.

Oh no... Zeus no. Thanks for the accidental downer ending monologue.

See! Even the credits don't list any Titans. Just stop motion mythologicals.

@strangefour didn't the Stop Motion Mythologicals open for the Talking Heads or something once

@strangefour Except he uses Medusa's head to defeat him. So its Medusa vs Kraken, sort of!
