@trixter @Taweret I don't trust pre-bagged or chopped lettuce (or cabbage or whatnot) to be safe so I've always gotten whole heads. I note that I have been a LOT more thorough washing and rincing even when the head looks sparkling clean. Probably for the best.

@r343l I grew up in a boxed-Mac-and-cheese household so I’m slowly learning to think of lettuce as a valid food, so it’s been baby steps. But with everything going on with regulations in the US it seemed like a good time to start chopping my own.
