This week's Minoan Tarot cards:

Priestess of Daggers: Embody the warmth, creativity, and passion of your inner Fire. Live it in such a way that it resonates in others around you and touches their hearts.

Two of Horns: Let the smaller aspects of your life shift and rearrange themselves so you have more room for joy.

I created this deck; this is my art. Details and loads of card pix here: minoantarot.com/

This week's Minoan Tarot cards offer some wisdom for surviving these Interesting Times:

Eight of Labryses: You may feel powerless or like you have no options, but that's an illusion. Anxiety may be clouding your thinking. Look behind the emotions to reach the state of clear thinking that will allow you to see where the solutions lie.

The Tower: These are the times we live in. Turbulent, yes. Unprecedented, no. The world goes through cycles of chaos and destruction before rebuilding anew. Recognize the pattern and find your own pathway through.

I created this deck myself; this is my art.

This week's Minoan Tarot cards:

Ten of Labryses: Things are about as bad as they can get. What you thought was true turns out to be false. This is hard and unpleasant, but you will get through it, and then it will be time to start fresh.

Lord of Daggers: Go ahead and throw yourself into whatever lights your passions. Others will follow, and together you will find beauty to offset the darkness.

This week's Minoan Tarot cards:

Eight of Horns: Success via hard work, dedication, and skill. Buckle down and do what you know you need to, and you'll get to where you want to go.

The Fool: Trust in the universe. Let your instincts guide you. Drop any ideas of "should" or "ought to" and allow yourself to be fully in touch with the divine within the cosmos and within you.

I'm a writer, which amounts to being a small business owner attempting to make a (meager) living off my writing. So once a week, I share one of my books in case it might resonate with some of you.

The Last Priestess of Malia is historical fiction: The people of Crete fight to save their culture and their values from the onslaught of foreign conquerors. I'll be honest, it's not light reading. But I think it's relevant for our times, perhaps painfully so.

This week's Minoan Tarot cards:

Strength: Lean into your determination and your patience. Self-control will be necessary this week. The real battle is inside you; overcome that, and the outer world will be much easier to deal with.

Lady of Rhytons: Put on those rose-tinted glasses when you need to find hope and beauty. There is still good in the world; allow yourself to acknowledge and celebrate it. This is a balance that's necessary for mental and emotional health.

This is a deck I created (I'm an artist and writer). Deck details here: minoantarot.com/

This week's Minoan Tarot cards:

Five of Daggers: Obstacles, complications, and difficulties. Nothing unexpected for these Interesting Times, really. But they are made far worse when we reflect our own fear and anxiety onto the situation. So take a step back and take a deep breath. These bumps in the road will smooth out as we go along, but only if we face them honestly.

Priestess of Rhytons: Lean into your intuition and empathy, and let them steady you. While your relationships with others are important, a healthy relationship with your own emotions is paramount.

This deck is my own creation, my own hand-painted art. Find all the details and many more card pix here: minoantarot.com/

This week's Minoan Tarot cards:

Priest of Rhytons: Manifest the qualities of Water in your life. Lean into long-term relationships, and not just romantic ones. Encourage and support those around you. Lead with empathy and warmth.

Eight of Horns: Focus on the skills you've developed over the years and finding satisfaction in them. The activities you've worked toward mastering are an integral and valuable part of yourself.

I created this deck myself; it's my original art. Deck details and card pix here: minoantarot.com/

This week's Minoan Tarot cards:

The Lovers: Every choice you make has a consequence. Make your choices with care and do what you know is right, even if it's hard to do. Don't put it off just because it makes you uncomfortable; that will result in a much worse outcome.

Two of Horns: The world moves and changes around us. This card is a reminder that those changes are a normal part of existence, and everything evens out in the long term, gains offsetting losses. Be flexible and do your best to go with the flow.

This week's Minoan Tarot cards:

Youth of Rhytons: Genuine affection and loving kindness. Don't let yourself feel awkward or ashamed about expressing this to others. It shows your beautiful true self and is a blessing to the world, especially in uncertain times.

Six of Rhytons: Look to the past for advice about how to handle the present. History doesn't repeat itself, but it rhymes. Look back to figure out how best to move forward. That may mean doing something that was done before, but it may also mean avoiding repeating the errors of the past.

I am often asked how the Minoan deities get along with deities from other pantheons. Pretty well, in most cases. Here I have a corner "inhabited" by the Minoan Snake Goddess, Freyja, and the Virgin of Guadalupe. The amazing big Snake Goddess figurine was crocheted by the ever-talented Opal Luna, who can be found at FiberMagick dot com.

This week's Minoan Tarot cards:

Justice: No one is an island. Every decision we make affects others, on both a small and large scale. Make your choices openly and honestly with the understanding that the best decisions reflect the underlying divine order of the universe.

Three of Daggers: New beginnings show promise. Trying new things and exploring new possibilities will pay off for you, giving you a "first harvest" in the short run and good prospects for the long term.
