- Apps by GrapheneOS for some GrapheneOS apps (and assorted 
other apps).
- Obtainium for installing apps directly from source/repos.
- Neo Store for installing apps who cannot be arsed to have .apk files in their repos (#AntennaPod), yet without dealing with the typical F-Droid shenanigans.
- Accrescent, because hell, why not! The more, the merrier!
- And, of course, Google Play Store for the corporate goblins.

Yeah, I know it's a lot. But that's the beauty of an autistic brain I guess, we go deep on what fascinates us.
Fully #degoogle'd my #android phone! That was a tough one! The default android encryption definitely get on my nerves too much. But its actually nice to see that android is somehow resistent to malicious stuff with recovery and flashing!
Now I'm fully using #obtainium and #fdroid to get my apps! 100% worth it, because my phone feels much faster and cleaner. Bonus points for privacy :)

This led to them including a self-update system which was openly implemented and documented. F-Droid was unaware they'd shipped it for half a year, and by then WireGuard had essentially escaped from in their words being held hostage by F-Droid.
This was a rare case where an app used developer signing keys via their flawed reproducible builds system. Most don't.

@GrapheneOS While I appreciate bringing up the security concerns the existence of alternatives to #FDroid I do not think we have those when it comes to pure FOSS apps without the usual big corporate trackers/libs. #Accrescent lists a few apps and fails to provide relevant information about them (such as requested permissions). E.g. #Qlango includes multiple tracking libraries by #Meta / #Facebook and doesn't look like it is FOSS to any degree. Even while the #FDroid repo is not carefully curated I don't run into traps like these. 
There is a need for a curated and maintained FOSS app repo and currently there is nobody but @fdroidorg providing it. #Obtainium, #Accrescent are mostly option for expert users who exactly know who to trust and what they are looking for. @Kulei @newhinton
Anybody here using #Obtainium ? I installed @Tusky with it, but the newest release of tusky does not show up. Never had this "problem" before.

Como el fork de #Telegram que usaba hasta ahora, #Mercurygram, no recibe actualizaciones desde hace unos meses, he decidido probar #Momogram, un fork de #Nekogram X. La apk la he descargado de su repo oficial en GitHub usando #Obtainium; ignoro si se encuentra también en FDroid.
Para mapas usa por defecto #OpenStreetMap y es compatible con #UnifiedPush para notificaciones push (también permite servicio keep-alive por si queréis notificaciones por separado).
Iré cotilleando a ver qué más funciones trae. Vamos a ver si a la larga no me espía más de lo que ya hace el backend de Telegram

The last release on Github and F-Droid will happen with the December 2024 Syncthing version. Reason is a combination of Google making Play publishing something between hard and impossible and no active maintenance. The app saw no significant development for a long time and without Play releases I do no longer see enough benefit and/or have enough motivation to keep up the ongoing maintenance an app requires ...
Right so I have successfully migrated from the #Android app #Syncthing as development is ceasing to the new app #SyncthingFork as developed here. All I did was export my settings then uninstall the old app then instead of going for the #Fdroid Syncthing-fork V1.27.7.0, I went with getting the latest apk using #Obtainium V1.27.12.0 from their git repository and imported the backup.
