I'm moving cautiously, peeking around corners. I'm trying to pull single enemies from large groups. I'm managing my limited resources because I can't just run back to a safe location. I'm observing bosses from a distance to memorize their movement patterns before attacking.

Pikmin 2 was so good. I'm pretty sure it had the shortest development time out of all the games but it turned out the best.

Maroon Marlin | InvidiousPikmin 2's Underappreciated DetailPikmin 2 is one of my favorite video games of all time and it is filled with lots of easy to miss and underappreciated details, especially for a game developed in two years. These range from visual details to game design details. There's obviously going to be some details I'm going to miss, so lemme know if you know of any! I've played pikmin 2 over a dozen times on multiple platforms, so I'm no stranger to this game at all. All details here were ones I've discovered throughout my time playing and modding the game and from my time in the pikmin community, with some help from pikipedia for the technical details. The video is sort of split into two sections, the first half is quicker, with a bunch of unrelated details one after the other. The second half focuses on detail regarding sections of the game like specific caves, modes, and just long topics. Some of these details aren't definite. They could always just be a coincidence. I tried to use appropriate language to describe details that may not be intended by the developers.
