I looked at the butler closely, but never did I see by any expression
of his face or by anything that he did any suggestion that he waited
upon less than fourteen people in the complete possession of all their
faculties.

At first I found little to say, but Sir Richard spoke, from the far end of the table:

> ARLEN: You...are tired, Mr. Linton?

I was reminded that I owed something to a host upon whom I had forced myself--and the champagne was most excellent--

_Row 2-4 panels 1-6: various shots of the tables' empty chairs being spoken to , as the wind slowly coalesces into forms of human beings in the drunken haze and Linton begins to tell his story and then royally fuck off and piss off the guests. Each row is interspersed with a caption._

--and with the help of a second glass I made the effort to
begin a conversation with a Miss Helen Errold for whom the place upon
one side of me was laid--sometimes I turned and spoke to Miss Rosalind Smith--

Still I was not talking enough; my host was looking at me. I made another effort, after all I had something to talk about, a twenty-mile point is not often seen in a lifetime, especially south of the Thames--and so I began to describe the run--

I was pleased to be able to make the party go off well by means of my conversation, and besides that the lady to whom I was speaking was extremely pretty--I do not mean in a flesh and blood kind of way but there were little shadowy lines about the chair beside me that hinted at an unusually graceful figure when Miss Rosalind Smith was alive--

_Row 4 goes here, with Linton, drunk as all balls, continuing to gestulate, then laughing, as the ladies look on, horrified_

I made jokes-- in this state the champagne had found me, and
what would have been harmless at any other time must somehow have got
the better of me when quite tired out--anyhow I went too far, I made
some joke--I cannot in the least remember what--

After a long night, a new batch of bristol A4 has been lined for bleeds, safe zone, etc in order to host new comic and manga pages! Stay tuned! (Not sure when the time will come, but I'm gradually preparing the tech gear to be ready!)

Penciling done! Now comes the final part of inking, which has to be done with a few hours... :S

1-page comic penciled. Top left panel shows an bee with BZZZ sound effects thinking "Man, I am bored today... what to do?". Top right panel shows the bee from a further away view thinking "...guess I'll go check some flowers" while it hovers on top of a field with a wooden box in the middle of it. Mid left panel shows a an orchid with elaborate flower patterns, mid central panel is a closeup to the bee's face, wide-eyed and the effects "O...M...G...!". The mid right panel shows from a far away angle the fast movement of the bee towards the flower by a single curly line. The bee says "oh boy! What a woman!" Bottom left panel shows the bee on top of the flower thinking "hey there baby.. You're so sweet!" and the bottom right panel shows another bee (a female) seeing that and thinking "and they say bees are smart.."

Finally, while Disney once again shoves queer rep under the bus, burying yet another trans plot thread in the upcoming Pixar short series “Win Or Lose”, Sundance is brimming with trans and queer rep this coming year. The first round of announcements includes Chase Strangio biopic “Heightened Scrutiny”, transmasc romance “Sauna”, and–the film I’m personally looking forward to–Rohan Parashuram Kanawade’s mourning-period romance “Sabar Bonda”.

Personally, my queer flick of the year isn’t at Sundance or on Disney. It’s from the cartoonist behind “Duncan And Eddie”, Chervil–he and a couple friends released their student film “Ring Race” just this past week, telling the story of a cute gay marriage proposal that quickly goes off the rails.

Don’t bother with Disney. Just go watch Ring Race instead, support
smaller filmmakers make queer art, and then go read all of Duncan and Eddie. It’s one of the only currently-running comic strips I read nowadays, honestly.
