I finished an old ink drawing with digital drawing. I started drawing this a few years ago when I started training seriously how to draw details. Before 2020 I didn't have much patience for details so 99% of the time I just did quick sketches. I ruined the original drawing with a coloring experiment but luckily I scan my bigger pictures many times during the drawing process in case I fuck them up.

Vihreä taustakangas ja kuvankäsittelyä osaava ystävä auttavat, kun pitäisi tehdä näyttelyä varten graafista settiä. Tein tällaisen kombinaation inspiraatioksi museolle, jossa näyttelyni on. Ne mokomat tykästyivät tohon siinä määrin, että haluavat tehdä siitä näyttelyjulisteen ja muuta sälää. No, mikäs siinä sitten. Taustalla yksityiskohta teoksesta, jonka nimeä en edes yritä muistaa koska se on koordinaatti ja säde. Käsissäni on Runsaudensarviköynnöksen yhdeksänkertaisen suurennoksen langat. Tuplapohjaista tykkimyssypitsiä tulossa.

Postaaja tekemässä XL-kokoista pitsiä nypläämällä. Taustalla on kuvankäsittelyllä lisätty yksityiskohta toisesta pitsiteoksesta.

A small oil painting on wood (with a layer of varnish on top) titled "I like chocolate and wrestling". The work reflects girlhood, growing up as a young woman in our time, when the most important thing is to listen to your inner self and live a life that is your own without trying to fulfill the ideas and guidelines of society and various political/extremist/religious movements/groups about what life "should really be like and what a woman's role is in society", I think.

As an aging woman, I say calmly, be and live exactly as you want. If you want to change something, do it. If you still gather courage, strengthen yourself in peace. If everything is fine just like this, you have already come a long way.

Everything has its time and place, I think. And even though the world is now in transition, I believe that the voice of reason, justice and truth will win, because it has the most supporters in the world. ✌️🎀
