#ThursDeath this week is this great new EP 'Into the Flame of Fear' by Bellingham, Washington's MALDISDEUN. These guys just started in 2019 and have only one other release before this (an LP from 2023), but they REALLY have the OSDM sound and everything else down. Two very interesting, diverse, dynamic tracks of death metal here -- a band to watch.

I wish my time in Bellingham had gone differently. I was so involved in that corporate hostage situation (i.e. Carvana) that I didn't get to look around much.

I really liked what I saw of the city. It seems really charming and progressive in contrast to the rich farmer land you go through to get to it.

And there are nice details like this mosaic on the concrete base of a lamp post at an apartment complex. #Art #Mosaic #Bellingham
