In this video I am taking a look at 5 fountain pens from my collection themed around Autumn.

These are:
⁃ Jinhao 9016 + Diamine Cinnabun
⁃ Wing Sung 630 + Diamine Harmony
⁃ Just Turnings Enceladus + Diamine Pick Me Up
⁃ Delta Dune + Diamine Early Dusk
⁃ Nahvalur Nautilus + Diamine Grotto

Join me now to explore these pens.

I finally remembered to fill and test my Kakimori Frost rollerball which takes fountain pen ink. I filled it with Diamine Sapphire Blue. It's a bit different in that you fill the converter while it's disconnected and then press it on, rather than drawing ink up through the tip.

Writes very well, it's very smooth so far, but also puts out fairly wide lines. It's supposed to be 0.5mm but feels a bit wider than that in practice. Looks great, though.

Moving on to more practical prints. I've printed this flexi octopus before but now I used the "negative volume" option in PrusaSlicer to make a 16mm hole through it and turned it into a sample vial holder and it's quite stable!

I also printed a small pen tray, which I cut shorter in the slicer, to hold a few pens waiting to be cleaned. Holes could be a little larger, maybe a flat top would be better for where it is going. I'll make my own soon.
