Here's the prototype of a new bag design. It mostly worked. For a final version I would use a heavier duty zipper. It could be stitched with seams outside or inside but I prefer outside seams because it shows the hand sewing.
There's little new in bag design because bags have been created for centuries but I did design strap loop that snaps to one strap and loops around both to hold them together for over-the-shoulder carrying. #LeatherCraft #DIY #maker #HandMade #Handbag #design

A lark burgundy leather bag in the shape of a half moon with straps on either side, also shaped liked a half moon, that are stitched directly to either side of the bag. The straps loop over the top of the bag. The bag has a top zipper in the side gusset with is wider at the base and narrow at the top.
