Yep, I'm back with a few more creations because I couldn't help myself.

From we have Rip, Spawn Hunter and Toby, Beasie Befriender. I really like how Toby and his Beastie friend turned out, though I wish I had a larger kitbash part count to really make a more accurate recreation.

I've managed to do a bit of fiction proofreading. This bug I've had for weeks has knocked any sense of balance and routine out of me, so I've felt out of it.

But I also just played with #HeroForge's tool as I saw they'd introduced mounts.

In my world there are a small-ish number of "battle cats" available for one kingdom. HF don't have tigers yet, but I used the Lionesse model. It's not large/muscly enough but it's a good basis for drawing, at least.

My brother and his partner got me MTG:
decks and the Nightmare Bundle for my birthday. Suffice it to say, I've returned to MTG after nearly 20 years, and the cardboard crack addiction also returned with a vengeance.

So smitten and immersed am I in the Duskmourn lore, I recreated a few key characters in . Here's the main baddie, Valgavoth: Terror Eater and Harrower of Souls, the moth elder demon who /is/ Duskmourn.

Some stuff I've be working on in preparation for the Starfinder 2E adventure I'll be running for my TTRPG friend group this year. A small shuttle called the Grasshopper, a battle map of one small section of a large freighter called the Barrash, and the owner/captain of the Barrash, Osgud Volbeder.

The Grasshopper and section of the Barrash were made using DungeonDraft with assets from Forgotten Adventures and PeaPu. While Captain Osgud Volkbeder was made using Hero Forge.

While working on #ScoutAndShaman, #CerianAndVaranWar, and #GwenAndGrey, I made a conscious decision to limit my physical descriptions of the characters.

Gwen has red hair. Ashwan is "shorter than expected". Hitomi is very tall and has wings (and Claire would give her a run for her money in height). Grey is never actually described beyond the bauplan they are using at the time - and the fact that their preferred #Dragon form is huge. Tannis, Ava, or Estelle don't get described at all.

My reasoning is to allow my readers to create their own images of how the characters look.

Since then, I have (naturally) run off to #HeroForge, and created 3d models of how I imagine they look!

Except for Grey. I will never really be able to model them, because their form is so mutable.

I will not be sharing these models online, because I really do want my readers to be the people who decide what the characters look like.

My latest artistic endeavor was to recreate the cast of the 1964 show in . I first tackled the main family unit of Morticia, Gomez, Wednesday, and Pugsley played by Carolyn Jones, John Astin, Lisa Loring, and Ken Weatherwax, respectively.

I'm proud of how close I got to Carolyn and John's likenesses. Children in HF are much trickier to get right.

I plan on rounding out the rest of the family cast.

I was playing the other day and was tickled by a particular gravestone in the Lower City: "Adventurers Alexer and Orion Goodbeard - Intrepid explorers of the Plane of Shadows."

So I wanted to create Orion and Alexer as a bit of an odd couple: Orion was a shield dwarf fascinated with the and who wrote a comprehensive traveling guide for the realm, and Alexer was a Mortarch of the Church of and Orion's husband and adventuring partner.

I don't talk much about characters I play in the few RPG groups I'm in... but last weekend I got to pull my guy's sword out of anime swordspace:tm: and it felt pretty awesome.

So I made a (sadly unprintable) miniature about it.
